Press Info For immediate release Bill Bates is a Warwickshire based singer songwriter and he performs original songs in folk clubs, festivals and parties throughout the UK. His songs are almost autobiographical. "I tend
to add on bits when it suits the song," Bill explained, "but I definitely won't
let the truth get in the way of a good rhyme or story". After performing in local folk clubs and festivals for 10 years he has just released a live DVD. “I was occasionally asked if I had a CD to sell,” Bill explained, “but I was always too embarrassed to actually make one. At one gig in Bedworth, I finally plucked up enough courage to record the gig. I set all the equipment up. Did the gig, and then realized half way through that I had forgotten to hit the record button!” Bill Bates finally recorded and videoed a concert at the Warwick Folk Club and finally turned into it into a live DVD. “It’s a pity I didn’t do it years ago”
Bill said, “I may have been rich by now and living in a posh house in the sun
away from the Credit Crunch. (Ends) 170 words High resolution press photo 2 click here High resolution press photo 3 click here

"The Recycle Song is about saving the planet, recycling, melting ice caps, penguins, CO2 emissions, solar power, the ozone layer, wind farms and recycled love. It was really difficult to find a word to rhyme with biodegradable"
