Folk Clubs and Festivals

Bill is ideal entertainment for folk clubs and folk festivals. Last year he performed his comedy songs at the Warwick Folk Festival within the very posh Bridgehouse Theatre starting at midnight and finishing up at 1:00 am. Only one person fell asleep and that was more due to their consumption of real ale!

Bill has recorded a live DVD at the Warwick Folk club which is now available.  He hopes to sell these and become rich and famous and retire to the Bahamas with his wife Louise, cats Bumble and Pepper, oh, yes, and his children Sarah and Matthew.

Bill performs at many Midlands based Folk Clubs - to book him for your folk club please telephone 0777 5842 536  or email bill@billbatesmusic.co.uk

Bill Bates on the cover of Time Magazine

"The Caravan Song was written one particularly wet Monday afternoon in a force-9 gale half way up a cliff  on holiday in North Devon. Every time we went on holiday in our caravan it either poured down with rain, snowed or there was a hurricane directly over our campsite."
